Statement by the Partnership for New York City President and CEO Kathryn S. Wylde On Mayor Bloomberg's Sustainability Initiative

“The business community strongly supports Mayor Bloomberg's commitment to focusing on the city's planning and infrastructure needs to accommodate continued growth. Current projections say that the city will grow by one million people and 750,000 more jobs over the next 25 years. To make those projections become reality and keep New York City the center of world commerce and finance, we need to invest in infrastructure now, when the city is in good economic standing.”
